You may be curious as to why I love food so much. Food does a lot for the human body. yeah yeah yeah. I know you know about the nutrients and vitamins it gives the body so i wont bore you but you might be intrigued at what you might read in this piece.Have you ever asked yourself why you feel so good after eating ice cream or chocolate or foods high in sugar?? take 5 seconds, Take a moment to think about what you eat and how it makes you feel.can what you eat affect your mood? Can your diet be part of the equation to reduce stress?. The use of caffeine is one example of a complex relationship. Caffeine, found in tea, coffee, cola drinks and chocolate, is probably the most widely used behaviour-modifying drug in the world. We often choose to drink it if we are feeling tired and irritable, because it can give us a boost and help us to concentrate.

To be honest,I encountered a hard part of my life, I cried my eyes out. After crying for close to 2 days, I was dehydrated and the tears wont even flow. My best friend managed to get me ice-cream and chocolate because I had a sweet tooth I ate the ice-cream with the bar of chocolate and after an hour I felt better, I loved eating my ice-cream with a stick of chocolate. Any time I would eat this I feel better and feel very comforted and comfortable. So I decided find out why and this is what I found;one reason for this is that foods high in carbs and sugar increase levels of serotonin, a brain chemical that elevates mood(I goggled this).
“In the short term, eating foods high in sugar and fat may make you feel calmer and cared for.
You may ask why do people eat a lot when they are depressed, stressed or suffering an emotional break down. When one eats ice-creams, chocolate, yoghurt etc. this contains either lots of milk or sugar or both. From my personal experience any time am dull I just grab a bar of chocolate or get ice cream or both and sometimes banana. These help make me feel better in terms of mood because of the serotonin levels in them, but everything that has a good side surely has bad sides too.

These sweet foods we eat mostly cause one to gain weight, because our bodies don't let go of the sugar it retains it and then we start gaining weight bit by bit. so trust the saying'you are what you eat"
