My Thoughts

Familiarity they say breeds contempt. This may be true for some, but more often, familiarity makes people take each other for granted. Just because you have been friends with someone for a while doesn't mean you know them totally  or just because you have dated for a couple of years doesn't mean you should stop doing nice things for each other, or you stop asking how their day went at the end of the day.

Not everyone is looking for a long-term relationship, but most people who are in committed relationships are interested in keeping love alive for the duration.

Say "thank you" often and sincerely, and say it for even the most mundane things.Like making you laugh when you are grouchy or not exactly in the mood. Sub consciously, your partner will feel appreciated.

Learn to argue well. Some couples may be afraid to argue, believing that it's a sign that they aren't compatible or fearing that the argument will be the end of the relationship. Others use it as a prelude to passionate make-up sex. However, couples who know how to argue well find that it strengthens their connection with each other, and a strong relationship is a safe space for airing differences.(I read  a book somewhere which triggered this thought).

My ways of getting over a hungover!

When you start feeling dizzy, you want to throw up, pain and headache which are dominantly felt some hours or the day after your drinking spree. Drinking can be fun but its after math  varies from person to person.

My personal list to cure a hung over are as follows

*Eat something heavy if you know you are going to drink a lot when you step out.(This is a pre hungover prevention method).

                                 But when the hangover happens,

*If you feel the need to puke, puke it will make you feel better. Most of the alcohol which hasn't yet been digested will come out. This will reduce how long the hungover will last.

*Drink lots and lots of fluids. Obviously nothing alcoholic.Water helps reduce the concentration of the alcoholic level in your blood.fruit juices helps you get over hungover due to the vitamins they contain.

*Sleep helps the body build up its metabolism. Some painkillers can aid in the process when your take that rest.

*Eggs and bananas are some things  you can take as eggs contains cysteine, which removes those hungover-causing alcohol metabolite toxins from your body. Bananas are full of potassium and will definitely come in handy as you may need lots of potassium to replenish lost ones.

*Eat something spicy or hot. I usually eat kenkey and pepper with fish. The spice or pepper stimulates the body to be active.

Getting a hangover doesn’t mean you are sick, taking in drugs to help curb it only means you are abusing the drug.Just flush the toxins out by drinking
lots of fluids and just SLEEP!!!!!

Good kid,bad company(part 2)

They blew the fire out and then said bottoms up. We all gulped the shots down. It burned, was bitter and it wouldn't go down smoothly but I needed to be a cool kid. So I drank, again and again. Then my head started feeling lighter.

The song being played all of a sudden had lots of beat, I could feel the bass and rhythm move through me. I am not a good dancer so I don't like dancing but at this point I felt like I could dance like Ciara or maybe Chris brown for that matter. I started bumping my head and tapping my feet. Before I realized I was on the dance floor doing only God knows what, yet I felt on top of the world as I swayed my hips in absurd ways.

Soon  I felt the urge to throw up, but I needed to keep it down. I told one of my friends about my nausea, he suggested I take another shot or better still a beer will reduce the nausea, so I kept drinking anyway till a little voice in my head said 'now open up your mind and listen to me. If you take another drink, you might pass out.'

I turned  and looked around no one seemed to notice my discomfort.I wanted to walk out to get some air but I couldn't walk straight. My head felt very light and everything was extra loud.

So I moved from the loud music, to a much quieter place. Well it was a dark corner in the house and since there was no chair to sit I had to lean against the wall.

As I turned my back and pressed my bottom against the wall, I felt something different, this was no wall I was leaning on. I quickly stood up only to be pulled back by his strong and firm hands, I was tipsy and his touch was really welcoming so I let down my guards and leaned on his warm body.

He was bigger and taller than me, so I felt his warm breathe on my neck and I knew he was about to say something so I turned over and kissed him out of the blue.

I had always been the shy reserved type and this felt like the opportunity I'd always wanted to express my sexuality. No talking or petty chit chatting just bliss.

He kissed back with more passion and had his hands all over me. I could feel his heart pound against my body, his " little man"  pressed against my thighs and I felt it's warmth.

He wanted to take my undies off but I held his hands and he stopped. Our lips couldn't get enough of each other. His masculine thick lips and mine soft red ones just seemed to be a perfect fit.

The alcohol started to wear off and the loudness of the music began to wane down so I knew morning was approaching. I ended our kiss with a gentle bite and I dashed away never looking back to even have a glance of the mystery man who's lips were a wondrous pleasure.
